Frequently asked questions
- How is my age calculated in years, months, and days?
- The calculator subtracts your birth date from the target date, carrying over days and months so the result reflects full calendar units. For example, someone born on March 10 checked on April 5 would be shown with the correct number of whole months and the leftover days.
- Does it account for leap years?
- Yes. The calculation uses actual calendar dates, so leap years and the extra day in February are included automatically. This keeps the day count accurate no matter which years your age spans.
- Can I find my age on a future or past date?
- Yes. Just change the second date to any day you like, and the calculator will show how old you were or will be on that date. This is useful for figuring out your age at a future event or on a past milestone.
- Why does the next birthday countdown sometimes show a different number than I expect?
- The countdown measures whole days from today until your upcoming birthday, not including today itself. If your birthday is today, the countdown rolls over to your following birthday next year.
