Random Picker

Random Picker lets you paste a list of names or options, one per line, and then chooses a single random winner with a brief suspense animation. It is perfect for raffles, classroom callouts, team assignments, or any time you need an impartial pick from a group.

How to use the Random Picker

1. Type or paste your entries into the box, one name or option per line.
2. Click the Pick button to start the draw.
3. Wait for the animation to settle on the winner.
4. Turn on remove-winner mode if you want each pick taken out of the pool for the next draw.

Frequently asked questions

Does every entry have the same chance of being picked?

Yes. Each line has an equal chance, so a list of ten names gives every name a 1 in 10 shot on each draw.

What does remove-winner mode do?

When it is on, the chosen entry is removed from the list after it wins, so you can draw multiple unique winners in a row without repeats.

Is there a limit to how many entries I can add?

There is no fixed limit for normal use. You can paste long lists, though very large lists may scroll in the input box.

Will blank lines affect the result?

Empty lines are ignored so they cannot be picked. Only lines with text are counted as valid entries.
